Zinal Patel

Graduate Student

I am a Bioengineering PhD student co-advised by Dr. Adam Abate and Dr. Amar Nijagal at UCSF. My research primarily focuses on fabricating droplet microfluidic-based platforms to study and model cell interactions in the pediatric liver. I enjoy translational bioengineering and hope to make tools that will help with disease treatment and improve patient care. Outside of lab, I love mountain biking, contemplating life while hiking, and getting lost in SF
